Community Rules & Guidelines

Welcome to Gulf City Forums, the community hub for Grand Theft Auto VI discussions, news, speculation, media, guides, roleplay discussions, and everything related to GTA 6. We are committed to maintaining integrity, transparency, and a welcoming environment throughout the Gulf City community. To ensure a positive, respectful, and enjoyable experience for everyone, all members must follow the rules outlined below.

Failure to comply with these rules may result in content removal, warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans at the discretion of the moderation and staff team.


1. Respect Others

Treat all members with respect. Harassment, personal attacks, discrimination, threats, trolling, bullying, and intentionally provoking arguments are not permitted. Debate ideas, not people.

2. Post Quality Standards

Keep discussions relevant to the section you're posting in unless it's related to the core idea. Make your posts count in meaningful, useful, or helpful ways for the community. Follow every board's rules, and read the available guide topics before posting. Avoid derailing topics, creating unnecessary drama, duplicate threads, or posting low-effort and repetitive content.

3. No Spam or Advertising

Spam, excessive self-promotion, unsolicited advertising, referral links, and mass posting are prohibited unless specifically approved by staff.

4. Illegal or Inappropriate Content

Do not post, share, request, or promote illegal, dangerous, disturbing, copyrighted, or otherwise prohibited content. This includes piracy, stolen accounts, confidential leaks, malicious software, and any content that may expose the community to legal risks.

5. Privacy & Personal Information

Do not share or request personal information belonging to yourself or others, including addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, financial information, or private conversations without consent. Doxxing will result in severe disciplinary action.

6. No NSFW Content

Pornographic, sexually explicit, excessively graphic, or shock content is not permitted. Content must remain suitable for a broad audience.

7. No Impersonation

Do not impersonate staff members, Rockstar Games employees, content creators, community members, or public figures.

8. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account. Multi-accounting to evade moderation, account sharing, selling, transferring accounts, or attempting to bypass restrictions is prohibited.

9. No Political, Religious, or Real-World Conflicts

Gulf City is a place for members to discuss GTA VI and enjoy the community. Real-world conflicts and divisive topics should be left outside the community.

The following are not permitted:

- Political discussions, campaigning, or propaganda
- Religious debates or preaching
- Discussions intended to provoke conflict based on political, religious, cultural, or ideological beliefs
- Content promoting extremist organizations or movements
- Bringing ongoing real-world conflicts or controversies into community discussions

Staff reserves the right to remove content that creates unnecessary division, hostility, or disruption within the community.

10. Rumors & Speculation

Discussion of GTA VI rumors and speculation is welcome. However, speculation must not be presented as fact, and intentionally spreading false information is prohibited.

11. Follow Staff Instructions

Staff decisions must be respected. If you disagree with a moderation action, contact an Administrator privately rather than creating public disputes.

12. Report Issues Responsibly

Use the report system or contact staff when necessary. Do not engage in public confrontations or attempt to moderate other users yourself.

13. Community Standards

Content posted on the forum, including profiles, avatars, signatures, usernames, and other public-facing content, must comply with these rules. Staff may remove content that is inappropriate, disruptive, misleading, or harmful to the community.

14. English Language Policy

Unless otherwise specified, all posts should be made in English. Language-specific sections may be used where available.

15. Real-World Trading

Buying, selling, or trading community-related items, services, accounts, or currency for real-world money or goods is prohibited unless officially authorized by the administration.
